Remember

As we approach Y2K, REMEMBER ... it will take courage and discipline to go against the flow. Especially now as we face this particular year which is pregnant with foreboding. Some predict disaster in Y2K and some herald it as a great year for the establishing of One World Order. We hear of almost unbelievable things happening to Christians even in our Western World. We are bombarded by seeming implications that evil is winning.

BUT REMEMBER ...

As we see the birth-stirrings of the harlot one-world church, as we see the satanic projects of many nations, REMEMBER ... what God said to Pharaoh (Exodus 9:15-16). "By now I could have put forth My hand and struck you and your people with pestilence and you would have been cut off from the earth. But for this very purpose have I let you live, that I might show you My power and that My Name may be declared throughout the earth."

REMEMBER ... what Paul said to the Philippians 1:12,18, "Rest assured that the reason for our circumstances and for the revelation of Jesus through us in those circumstances, is to advance the Gospel. The light shines brighter in the increasing darkness. Do not for a moment be intimidated by your adversaries. Your constancy and fearlessness will be a clear sign to them of their impending destruction and evidence of your deliverance."

REMEMBER ... evil is not winning. God is simply allowing the consequences of deliberate choices; He is giving them up to the results of the determined lusts of their hearts; He is giving them over to the results of a determinedly base mind. Evil is not winning but when God's truth is willfully exchanged for a lie, the darkness becomes darker and how great is that darkness! (Romams 1:24,25,28).

REMEMBER ... the light shines brighter in the increasing darkness.

REMEMBER ... when it seems that our plans are not working out, the Providence of God is involved in every situation to work out His plans.
