Law

 Psalm 119:165 -- Great peace have they who love Your

         law; nothing shall offend them or make them stumble.

YOUR law; the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free (Romans 8:2) --

- Free from the old ways of bondage,

- Free from having to respond in kind to whatever is hurtful,

- Free from being offended or discouraged by circumstances -- free from the discouragement

       of living under the circumstances - that's defeat; free from the futile attempt to live

       above the circumstances - that's fantasy; free to go through the circumstances with

       Jesus - that's glorious reality.

- Free from the failure to see God in everything,

- Free from impulsive sin when caught off guard,

- Free to understand that peace does not depend on my circumstances but only on my limitless

       resources in Christ.

YOUR law; to love Your law is simply the abiding life of "not I but Christ" (Galatians 2:20).

Come to the Cross.  Listen to Jesus ... and regarding sin with its guilt and power, speak the words after Him ... IT IS FINISHED!!!

To live "under the LAW" is to receive commands, impossible commands to self effort ...

THOU SHALT NOT.

To live "in the SPIRIT" is to receive promises, freeing promises ... in resurrection victory.
